Attendance: Jeff Albrinck, Bill Puthoff, John Ranz, George Synder, Gary Foust
I. Police
a) Accreditation on-site review
i. Accreditation review was performed. Everything went well and the Chief expects reaccredidation.
b) Certification THF 2009
i. 3 year inspection for temporary holding facility
c) Fine & Computer Fund ordinance
i. $10 added to fines that will assist in court cost
d) OT costs/Homicide
i. Overtime hours as of 4/19/09 are 437.5. Majority due to homicide on I-75. May need to add more OT to budget at end of year.
e) Parking/Both sides street
i. Police and Fire responded to a party on Giverny regarding excess parking. This was an isolated incident. Will address future issues on a case by case basis.
II. Finance
a) Investments
i. April tax revenues are down by $300,000 vs. April budget. On budget for 2009 and even with actual 2008 budget.
b) April Financials
i. Modified projections because expect less from investments
c) 2007 - 2008 Audit
i. Field work complete and expect no problems.
d) Positive Pay
i. Will request fees be waived but expect fees of $600 per year.
e) Petty Cash - Phi Lambda Pi
i. Will give Kim $300 for petty cash for drawer
f) TIF
i. Note will be issued as a variable rate issue. The rate is reset every 7 days.
ii. Anticipate initial rate of 2.30 %
iii. Miller Valentine/Anchor will pay issuance cost for the current note. They will probably want to recover those costs as service payment exceeds interest cost.
